I am wiring up my golf cart batteries. I need a decent MPPT controller so I can wire my panels in a series. I put the batteries in my shed so I don’t have to worry about hydrogen gas. they should do good out there because I have a wood stove to keep them warm if I need to. Not so sure about the hot summer time oh well no body is perfect LOL.
I dug a 36 inch deep and 18 inches wide hole for my post and mixed up and poured in 8 50 lb bags of concrete to set my 6x6 post in the ground. I let it cure for one week. I think a week and a couple of days before I started to work on it.
I bought brand new table saw at big box lumber and hardware store that sounds like Blowe"s. It stripped right out after a few cuts? What junk. I Sent my money over seas never to return. I feel buyers remorse. I wish now I had thought to buy a used one MADE IN AMERICA! So I did do just that. I got it cheap for fifty dollars "woo hoo"! Its a Delta Rockwell. It is so nice. Its a antique. I just love it. So look in your paper or on craigs list for a used saw made in America and keep your money in your country. Dont be stupid like I was.
I started the video of the solar trackers at 1:30 pm and missed the whole morning tracking so its not a full day and the camera finally froze after awhile because it is just too cold out side.. So its not near a full day of solar tacking on on video. I will try for a better video when it gets warmer. I was impressed a little bit and look at my black cat sunning himself in the background by the porch ha ha lol.
Solar System working Super! Checked the amps coming from panels while ago and it said it was charging 33.5 amps into the Nissan Leaf batteries. I am running the refrigerator and the batteries are full up. The Leaf Batteries just suck up juice and store it. They are awesome.
Here is what my set up looks like with the battery inverter Charge Controller and MT50 monitor. Here are the settings I used and you can read about how to set it up on a forum called Techluck.com and Check out Nrodge1 on Youtube to learn more about the Nissan leaf battery set up. when setting up use the User mode to change values.
