A demonstration on how to solder a solar cell to prepare it for assembly into a full solar panel. In this video you can see the top side of the solar cell being tinned with solder to prepare it for the next stage. Adding solder first allows the tabbing wire to stick easier to the solar cell.
Please see www.TheDoItYourselfWorld.com for more info and how to order our DIY Solar Panel book.
Please forgive the graininess of the video. The lines in the solar cell caused optical illusions on my video camera. I will be uploading better videos later with a better video camera.
First burn of the diy rocket stove using soup cans and a coffee can. The stove works well and holds heat for a long time after the fire is out. Uses hardly any fuel to heat up water or cook with.
My old faithful Bedini SSG is again restoring batteries. This old lawn mower battery was bone dry inside and no longer taking a charge. It was purchased as scrap for this experiment.
