I got another sawmill for the off grid homestead and some packages arrived with parts to repair my Ford 9n tractor. When I sell something that I need in order to pay the bills, I always make sure to keep enough off to the side to replace that later on. And I am happy that I did too because today I brought home a bandsaw mill. This is a partially finished home built bandsaw mill. It just needed a piece of metal welded on and a piece of square tube steel to finish the blade tensioner. I have to drill holes and put the pulleys on now that its welded.I also bought 20 ft of angle iron to make my own tracks for the bandsaw mill. This has an old Kohler 10 hp electric start engine from a 1960 lawn mower. The entire frame and console of the mower was recycled for this project which makes it sort of cool and unique. There is an electric winch to raise and lower the mill to set the depth of cut.I also ordered some parts to get the old 1940 Ford 9n tractor with original Deerborn Michigan front loader. I got an ignition switch, ammeter, resister and terminals and a full tuneup kit. I hope to get the tractor running so we can use it around the homestead. Thanks for watching.

I have to drill holes and put the pulleys on now that its welded.

I also bought 20 ft of angle iron to make my own tracks for the bandsaw mill.

This has an old Kohler 10 hp electric start engine from a 1960 lawn mower. The entire frame and console of the mower was recycled for this project which makes it sort of cool and unique.

There is an electric winch to raise and lower the mill to set the depth of cut.

I also ordered some parts to get the old 1940 Ford 9n tractor with original Deerborn Michigan front loader. I got an ignition switch, ammeter, resister and terminals and a full tuneup kit. I hope to get the tractor running so we can use it around the homestead.
