It was payday so I took a ride into town for some badly needed supplies for the off grid homestead. One of the stops along the way was Harbor Freight where I got a 1 ton hydraulic engine hoist. This is a hydraulic lift crane which I will use to pull the forklift batteries out of their metal case.I also picked up most of the materials that I need to mount assemble the wind turbine tower. I have some power cables as well to get the wind turbine up in the air finally.I have some guy wires, nuts and bolts for the tower framework. I have some 12 gauge wire and plug ends to run the power from the wind turbine down to the tiny house on wheels. The only thing I still need to get is the clamps for the guy wires and for the pole which will be on top of the tower.I also picked up some protective gear and hardware to get the forklift batteries out of their case so I can use them in my off grid solar home.Since it was Christmas Eve, many packages arrived all at one time.I opened a few of them tonight on camera for now.One of the packages is an awesome bluetooth speaker from Lumsing. This is an amazing looking device at first glance. I will be doing a full review on this product soon so stay tuned. You can find Lumsing here: http://www.lumsing.comI have been struggling with my old golf cart batteries which seem to be getting weaker although I am running my Harbor Freight 800 watt generator day and night to power a battery charger in an attempt at keeping the batteries topped off. Somehow they are losing power though no matter what I do.They will soon be replaced anyway when my new forklift battery comes. I will have a 12 volt 680 watt forklift battery for my off grid solar tiny house.Follow my daily progress on the path to self sufficiency on my off grid solar homestead.https://www.youtube.com/user/techman2015/playlists?view=50&shelf_id=10&sort=ddPlease donate to help keep The Off Grid Project ™ going: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=3TQSWXLLRZ6HWJoin The Off Grid Project ™ and The Do It Yourself World ™ forum and share your ideas, tips and projects.http://www.thedoityourselfworld.com/forumThe Off Grid Project ™ is presented by The Do It Yourself World ™.http://www.thedoityourselfworld.com - Miscellaneous - 1344The Do It Yourself World

I also picked up most of the materials that I need to mount assemble the wind turbine tower. I have some power cables as well to get the wind turbine up in the air finally.

I have some guy wires, nuts and bolts for the tower framework. I have some 12 gauge wire and plug ends to run the power from the wind turbine down to the tiny house on wheels.

The only thing I still need to get is the clamps for the guy wires and for the pole which will be on top of the tower.

I also picked up some protective gear and hardware to get the forklift batteries out of their case so I can use them in my off grid solar home.

Since it was Christmas Eve, many packages arrived all at one time.

I opened a few of them tonight on camera for now.

One of the packages is an awesome bluetooth speaker from Lumsing. This is an amazing looking device at first glance. I will be doing a full review on this product soon so stay tuned. You can find Lumsing here: http://www.lumsing.com
