It was a sunny but cold day at the off grid homestead. I spent most of my day hunting. I am trying to put meat on my table for once.
There is not a lot of video this day due to the fact that I have been out in the woods most of the day. I did scare up a deer while walking deep in the woods but I did not have a chance for a shot due to the thickness of the bush back in there.
I got another delivery of the old barn wood. This was a larger load of wood and is about the equivalent of 10 cords of firewood. I will take out all good, usable lumber and use the bad, broken or rotten wood for fire wood in my tiny house wood stove.
I got some packages in the mail. One was a gift from Goliath Man from Ireland. He sent me some coffee and a German stolen, which is a sort of fruit cake. He also sent a package for ManOfMany Thingz which I passed on to him.
I got my ebay order of antique kitchen door handles. These are a bit tarnished which, I think, makes them more valuable and beautiful. These will be used on all the cabinet doors in my tiny house on wheels.
The guys at Frost King contacted me a couple weeks ago and asked if I needed anything for The Off Grid Project. They send me a door threshold for my front door. Plus some rain gutter screens and down spout filters. Thank you very much Frost King. This company is one of the top suppliers of window seals, weather stripping, floor and carpet trim, pipe insulation and a lot more. You can find them at most hardware stores and lumber yards.
