Description:
I replaced the rotted board in the new off grid wood shop framing and then started to install insulation.I finished cutting and fitting the new piece of 2x4 to repair the wall framing. Then I put down some ant and roach killer to prevent any future insect infestations.I then put down some hardware cloth to prevent mice from getting into my insulation if they can find a gap between the siding and framing. And finally I started to install insulation in the walls. In the end I decided to install the insulation sideways to make it fit the 20" on center wall framing. I cut the insulation about 2 inches longer to give me enough overlap to staple it in place on the wall studs. When I install the paneling, it will hold the insulation firmly in place and prevent sag through the years. Thanks for watching.
