We let the birds run free on the homestead to eat ticks and other insects. We have guinea fowl and chickens which are now fully free ranging on about two acres of land on the front part of our property. The ticks are very bad this year so it was a rush to fence in our entire front lot and let the birds run free. Guinea fowl are known for eating ticks and helping to control the insect population. And chickens eat just about anything that moves on the homestead including mice and snakes if they can catch them. Now we are rushing to fence in all of our flower and vegetable beds so the chickens will not harm our food. Thanks for watching. Description:
We let the birds run free on the homestead to eat ticks and other insects. We have guinea fowl and chickens which are now fully free ranging on about two acres of land on the front part of our property.

The ticks are very bad this year so it was a rush to fence in our entire front lot and let the birds run free. Guinea fowl are known for eating ticks and helping to control the insect population. And chickens eat just about anything that moves on the homestead including mice and snakes if they can catch them.

Now we are rushing to fence in all of our flower and vegetable beds so the chickens will not harm our food.
