We have frost all the time this year so we are going to plant in raised beds in our greenhouse from now on. This will extend our growing season by two months each year. Actually this year it would be three months due to the fact that we are two weeks into our normal planting season and we are still getting frost on the ground.

If we had the greenhouse done already we would be harvesting vegetables already by this time.

I am using wood pallets as framing and supports for the outer walls of the raised grow beds. Then I am using lumber I got last year at the lumber mill for framing and supports on the inside walls.

This is the first part of the video where I got my planning worked out and started to frame in our raised bed greenhouse.

I am building the grow beds at 40 inches tall by 2 feet wide.

This will give us a lot of insulation on the ground and keep the plants up above the colder air down lower. This will greatly extend our growing season.

Watch for part two on the way....
