Using the County Line 25 ton log splitter in the rain. Got some good action camera footage. And I have some upgrade ideas as well as some new parts on the way to speed up my firewood processing time.
It was raining out pretty hard but I have to get this wood off the ground anyway. So I got some good action camera footage of working with the County Line log splitter at different angles.
While I work you can see some areas where I need improvement with this machine.
One of the biggest issues is the lack of a log catch table. That is arriving today some time.
Another part that is on the way is a 4 way splitting wedge. I believe that will arrive tomorrow.
These two additions will speed up my processing time a lot.
But one more mod to this machine is to stop the piston from returning all the way when I am working with 16 inch logs. This will save me a few seconds on every pass.
