I am marking our property lines with signs and purple paint to keep out hunters and other people during the upcoming hunting season.
Someone told me that Michigan is a "purple paint" state and that purple paint on a tree or post means no trespassing. So I went to the hardware store and asked for "purple no trespassing paint" and they knew right where it was.
I marked all the property lines first with paint and then back at the garage I cut a bunch of slab wood pieces and stapled no trespassing signs onto them.
These I then screwed onto threes where my older signs were missing.
